Chuck fights of a variety of dinosaurs using his belly-buster attack and a jump kick. Occasionally he has to pick up and throw rocks to defeat enemies and allow him to jump to greater heights.

Vamos reforçar sua memória: um ano e meio se passaram desde que Chuck Rock derrotou o malvado Gary Gritter, salvou sua amada Ophelia e se casou. As Ark J, your mission is to guard the gate between the two worlds, protect your appointed town, and ultimately, find peace. Vous incarnez un petit caméléon qui doit faire le ménage dans une quarantaine de niveaux. Pour vous déplacer, impossible de sauter. Vous devez utiliser votre langue pour arriver à vos fins. Le premier bouton vous permet de gober les monstres et de les recracher, comme dans Bubble Bobble. Sauf que cette fois, vous devez les envoyer sur des plantes carnivores pour les éradiquer définitivement. Dans Circus Lido, impossible de sauter, vous devez utiliser l'autre bouton pour sortir votre langue une fois de plus afin de vous hisser par l'intermédiaire de cordes. Il s'ensuit une maniabilité assez originale, mais qui n'arrive pas à se départir de l'ombre du hit de Taito. C'est dommage, car tout au long des niveaux on prend plaisir à trouver les solutions. En effet, le jeu tient plus du puzzle game que du jeu d'action. Mieux vaut réfléchir avant de jouer, sous peine de se bloquer.

City Hunter is based on the eponymous manga by Tsukasa Hojo. The story focuses on Ryo Saeba, a young man with a mysterious past, who founds the City Hunter team in Shinjuku, Tokyo. The City Hunter is an underground private detective agency, which takes care of particularly dangerous cases. In the game, the player is able to play through three of such cases, which are unrelated to each other and can be played in any order. The gameplay is essentially that of a side-scrolling shooter. The player navigates Ryo through the stages, dispatching of the frequently appearing enemies with his gun. The gameplay system is rather simple, without power-ups or different weapons, and with one items possible to carry at a time. The levels are usually designed as vast indoor areas, with many rooms Ryo can enter. The structure of the game also reveals mild adventure elements: often it is necessary to speak to a character, receive an item (such as a key), back-track to a previous area in order to reach a previously inaccessible room, etc.
