DUKE NUKEM 3D MAKES ITS WAY TO THE N64 FOR THE FIRST TIME, WITH PLENTY OF NEW ADDITIONS: WEAPONS: NEW WEAPONS INCLUDE TWO SUB-MACHINE GUNS (ONE IN EACH HAND), THE EXPANDER (THE BAD GUYS JUST GO POP!) A PLASMA CANNON (WHICH IS CHARGEABLE) AND A GRENADE LAUNCHER. SADLY, THERE ARE A FEW MISSING FROM THE ORIGINAL PC VERSION, INCLUDING THE RIPPER CHAINGUN, THE DEVASTATOR, AND THE FREEZE-RAY. PRESENTATION: THE BIGGEST CHANGES COME HERE, AS THERE ARE NEW AREAS TO EXPLORE, SOME IMPROVED ENVIRONMENTS, AND THE SAME WISE CRACKS THAT HAVE MADE DUKE FAMOUS. THERE ARE ALSO SOME JOKES HIDDEN AWAY BASED ON CLASSIC MOVIES (CLOCKWORK ORANGE, 12 MONKEYS, MARS ATTACKS AND APOCALYPSE NOW). HOWEVER, THERE HAVE BEEN PLENTY OF RESTRICTIONS IN THIS VERSION OF DUKE 3D. NINTENDO HAVE REPLACED SOME AREAS (THE PORN MAG SHOP HAS TURNED INTO A GUN STORE, THE BAR IS NOW A BURGER JOINT, AND THE NUDE WOMEN AREN'T NUDE ANYMORE), AND THERE IS AN OPTION AVAILABLE TO TURN THE BLOOD OFF. A 4 PLAYER MODE HAS ALSO BEEN INCLUDED, WHERE YOU CAN TAKE ON YOUR MATES AS WELL AS DUKE BOTS, AND A 2 PLAYER CO-OP MODE, SO TWO PLAYERS CAN TACKLE THE SINGLE PLAYER MISSIONS.

The game begins not a long time after Duke Nukem 3D. Duke is relaxing in Bootylicious with a few beers and some babes when suddenly Pig Cops start thrashing the place and turn his 1968 custom hog into a chopper bike. Duke trashes all the Pig Cops and then finds out that the aliens are trying to get to the past in order to take over the world before Duke was there to stop them. The game has 28 levels in total, varying from L.A. in the present time, to the Ancient west, and the Colloseum. The game has a 2-player mode so that 2 people can wreak havoc at each other. The game has many kinds of enemies; Pig Cops, Lizards, Octabrains, etc.

Alien scientists are working at taking over earth, and have already occupied the secret military base, Area 51. But little do they know that Duke Nukem is back and on their case, and he'll be travelling around the world, from Egypt to Australia, to make sure he's shot, frozen and/or stamped on every one of these creeps; and pick up a few girls while he's at it. There are 19 stages to be completed, each hosting their own secrets and colored keycards, not to be mention the alien nasties themselves. Some of the classic weaponry is in, the shrink ray and freezer for instance. And in, also, are some old villains too, like the all time fav Pig Cop. Upto 4 GBA's can be linked together for the multiplayer deathmatch mode, but each player has to have his own gamepak.

The former king of Oddesia has entrusted you with an important, dangerous task. You must find the sacred ORA stone, which possesses the powers of life, light and happiness, and retrieve it before the king of the alien race, Natas, does. He has conquered this land and plunged it into an age of terror and despair, plagued with violence. It is up to you to stand against him and return your world to its former glory. Dungeon Explorer plays like Gauntlet: you choose one of several different characters to play as (Fighter, Thief, Warlock, Witch, Bard, Bishop, Elf and Knome) and set out on your adventure alone or with up to four other players. Battles are real-time and of the shooter variety, ie, rather than swing a sword, you fire knives (or spells depending on your class). Enemies respawn out of holes in the ground which must be eradicated to keep them from pouring forth in waves. There are a number of items to be found and used throughout the game including potions of white and black magic, healing drinks and the like, but unlike Gauntlet there is no food to worry about.

Dyna Gear is a scrolling platform run 'n' gun game for one or two players in which two starships from the year 2993 AD fall through a time-hole and end up 65 million years in the past, above a prehistoric Earth-like planet. One ship is piloted by hero and 'time patroller', Roger, while the other is piloted by the evil Gustaf. The two ships shoot each down and crash-land onto the planet below, where Roger discovers that Gustaf has transformed many of the planet's dinosaurs into aggressive 'combat dinosaurs'. Players take control of either the muscular hero, Roger, or of Wolf; a bipedal wolfman who wants to free his prehistoric homeworld from Gustaf's clutches. They must battle through several dinosaur-infested stages in their quest to end Gustaf's plans. Different weapons and health boosts can be found in the destructible wooden chests that litter the stages, enemies also drop coins when killed that can be collected for bonus points. Each of the two heroes also has a 'double-jump' move; players can jump, then jump again while still in the air. This allows them to reach previously inaccessible ledges and platforms as well as occasionally take different routes through a stage. In the single-player game, a wolfman will occasionally join with the player to aid in the fight. A large, powerful 'boss' dinosaur guards the end of each stage and must be defeated to progress.

Dynamite Dux is a beat 'em up game, though rather than relying purely on one-on-one combat the ducks can equip themselves with a variety of weapons, from water pistols to bazookas. The game is also populated with a variety of odd looking enemies and bosses. Colonel Sanders, for instance, can be seen at the very beginning of the first level.
