Cada una de las ocho etapas del juego es un lugar fijo, y hace que el jugador mate a una cierta cantidad de gángsteres dentro de un límite de tiempo para pasar a la siguiente etapa. Dead on Time is an "if it moves, shoot it" game. Enemy ships will come from any direction, often in formations of up to four. You must shoot as many as you can but they don't shoot back, although they will ram. There are two game options:In Arcade, you shoot as many enemies as you can before time runs out. When you kill all the enemies in a formation, they leave capsules. Collect these to grant extra time. Collect three of the same color to get the bullet field. This allows you to absorb enemy impact, for a time.In Score Challenge, there is no time limit but too many impacts will end the game. Score as many points as you can. You can still collect capsules to get the bullet field.

Dead Warrior tells the story of a mercenary trapped in a dungeon. To escape he should defeat enemies and find the exit destroying the obstacles on this path. On each map the warrior must find a bomb box to break through some walls, collect the key and reach the door that opens the way to the next level. There aren't many modes in the game, just a little career mode that isn't that deep which has you go through a list of courses and you check them off the list after you are done. The other is single race where you and/or a friend go head to head or against AI opponents and just go through a normal race.

Bandits have overrun Dodge City, determined to escape with the loot. As the sheriff, it's your job to stop them in a game resembling Commando without the military setting. Your character has limited ammo, and can replenish this by walking over dead soldiers. You must also watch your thirst level, and head into the hotel at the top of the screen before it reaches zero. As well as the bandits, their horse regularly crosses the screen and must be avoided. As a bonus, the Spectrum version includes a free game called A-Maze, which is unsurprisingly maze-based.
