Collect the key and escape through the door to the next level. The Game The evil wizards of Eicram have dark powers, and have used these to oppress the people, casting them into poverty. They now intend to summon the Ultimate Beast of Destruction and begin enslaving the lands of Poberworld, outside the borders of Eicram. There is but one hope: a Soulmaster has been secretly training an army of magic fairy-boys. Their mission is to defeat the evil wizards and return freedom to Eicram's people. But all does not go according to plan. Various unlucky events plague the mission, and only one hero survives it. Kirlas. Kirlas now stands at the entrance to the main castle of the wizards. Will he defeat them and bring peace to the world? Survive all eight levels to complete the game. The Icons Kirlas is the green icon, who is going to save the world. The dark wizards are the black icons, who must be defeated. The heart icons increase Kirlas' health. The key icon must be collected to pass through the door icon. How To Play You must kill the evil wizards, collect the key and proceed through the door. To kill the wizards, you use your white magic ball. The wizards emerge from houses; destroy a house to stop the cycle but be careful not to be near a house when a wizard emerges from it. The blue bar on-screen indicates your health (0-100). Every second that you are in collision with an enemy will drain 25 points of health. The enemies have a similar health bar, and so must be hit four times to die. The E score shows how many enemies you have killed. The H score shows how many houses you have destroyed. The L denotes the level you have reached. Hints Each level is more difficult than the previous one. Try to collect all the hearts from each level before you complete it. If you destroy the house, you only need to clear the screen of remaining wizards to pass to the next level. If you just destroy the wizards, you will need to clear a certain number of wizards to pass to the next level. The wizards try to defend the house as hard as they can. The town of the game's hero is under a curse from an evil wizard. He has stolen the Golden Talisman that had protected the city in the past. Broken into five pieces, the Talisman is hidden in a labyrinth filled with monsters. Now the hero has to find all five pieces of the Talisman and destroy the evil wizard in order to restore peace to the city. The labyrinth is explored from a side scrolling perspective. It is composed of 64 room spread over five levels. Each room is 8 screens large, providing a total of 512 screens to explore. The goal of each level is to find a piece of the Talisman while fighting off lots of different monsters ranging from birds to jumping eyeballs to fire-breathing dragons. The hero can jump, climb ropes, swim and shoot as well as pick up different power-ups and objects. He can carry five objects, but only hold/use one at a time. Pressing the space bar changes the object in use. Usable objects include keys, ropes, lamps to light dark rooms, flags that improve the hero's firepower and others. Power-ups can be collected to replenish health or air. If the hero runs out of air, being underwater will slowly decrease his health. To help the hero finding his way through the labyrinth, a map is shown at the lower left side of the screen. It marks all visited rooms, shows his current position and indicates whether there are any items in a room.

El famoso juego de tablero "fantasy" se ha convertido en un juego de rol de vista isométrica en el que hay que derrotar al malvado mago Morcar. Tomas el control de un mago, un enano, un bárbaro y un elfo (cada uno con habilidades diferentes), que comienzan las misiones desde lados opuestos del tablero. Los movimientos se determinan mediante una tirada de dados, y sólo se pueden realizar otras acciones antes o después del movimiento. Estos movimientos se realizan mediante un sistema basado en iconos. Los personajes pueden luchar contra los numerosos monstruos que acechan o lanzar hechizos para derrotarlos. Hay pociones mágicas que descubrir, pero también trampas ocultas, por lo que se recomienda trazar un mapa. Los tesoros se pueden recoger e intercambiar en la tienda después de cada nivel.

A Hero Quest expansion pack with a set of new quests (adapted from a similar expansion to the original board game). This time the quests follow an ongoing storyline. The Witch Lord is back, and the heroes enter the ruined city Kalos to find and defeat him. Return of the Witch Lord plays similarly to the original game, but as the manual warns, is more difficult. For the DOS version of the game, the expansion pack was only available through the Hero Quest + Hero Quest: Return of the Witch Lord bundle.

The Alliance of Space Pilots has stolen a dangerous weapon called Z-Ray. A rebel sector of the Alliance sends a "Herobot" into their base to retrieve the weapon along with important data. Players take control of the Herobot and must find all six parts of the Z-Ray and download the data from the main computer. There are 12 different enemy droids that attack in different ways, some follow a set path, some charge the Herobot and a few can shoot. The Herobot can shoot at his enemies or use an energy bomb that destroys everything onscreen, but also depletes half of its energy. The base is laid out like a maze with energy barriers and conveyor belts blocking the robot's progress. Energy barriers can be turned off via switches, while conveyor belts can only be stopped temporarily by accessing terminals. Terminals can also be used to display a small map of the surroundings.

The premise is that two opposing forces are in combat with one another. Each player controls a jet airplane which zooms across the screen and may turn into a ground based soldier. These ground soldiers can hurt enemy units, but can not affect bases. To take over bases scattered across the map (and ultimately, the enemy base), players must purchase new units and transport them to certain positions. In this way, the player acts more like a transport and management for different types of units rather than a combat character themselves. If the plane is ever destroyed, it restarts at the player's base location. As previously mentioned, a level is complete when either side's base is lost to the opposing forces.
