The player pilots a spaceship from a 1st person perspective. The ship automatically warps through hyperspace, and arrives in combat with an enemy vessel. The player has a limited fuel supply, and must quickly destroy enemy vessels. As the player proceeds, they arrive at local starbases, which allow the player to save their progress and earn ranks. The goal is to reach the rank of Commodore.

International Karate Advanced is a GBA remake of International Karate 2000 for the Game Boy Color with the 3-way free-for-all from IK+ rather than the standard 1-on-1 from the original IK and IK2000. It features the same 12 playable characters, but now the game tells you the skill of the character in a scale of 1 to 5 stars. The same classic bonus games from IK+ and IK2000 have returned, as well as a practice dojo, which was previously included in the Game Boy Color game

During the tournament, the player has the possibility to upgrade the car, e.g. a better engine or a speed enhancement, and adjust the damper and tires according to the known weather conditions of the next race. The effectiveness of the car components wears down over the course of the tournament. Other available playing modes are single rallies, time races and duels with a human opponent.

While rugby is a popular sport, few rugby games were released for the CPC. This game includes options for one or two players, and you can practice or play a championship league. The screen is reminiscent of Football Manager 2, being split into three sections, which can be annoying at times when you are carrying the ball into the next screen and find it's been taken from you.

Seven-a-side rugby union is brought to life in this budget game. The action is viewed from the side, although kicks to the posts are played from a behind-the-posts perspective. Scrums and line-outs are incorporated for as realistic a game as possible given the player restriction. A tournament can be played with up to 8 players, with as many computer teams as required to fill the gaps. In the ST version the tactical side of the game is very complex - seventeen different formations are on offer. Other gameplay variables can be set - player stamina (lower values forcing you to play a more conservative game), how long a player takes to recover from a tackle, and the standard strengths of passes and kicks, pus some very complicated mathematical coefficients. The ability to rename teams, change kits and alter the match lengths seem banal by comparison.
