A game based on the hit movie Jurassic Park. The game starts just after the T-Rex pushes the visitor's van into it's pit. You play the role of Dr. Alan Grant, so you have to find Tim and Lex, take them to the Visitor's center and get everybody out of the island. But this time it won't be half as easy as it was on the movie. The game is split in two missions, played in two different ways. The first mission is to take Tim and Lex back to their grandfather and is (almost exclusively) played from a top-down perspective. The second mission involves getting the power back on line and returning alive, so everybody can leave the island and is played like a FPS (First Person Shooter).

Es un juego de aventura de apuntar y hacer clic, con un fuerte énfasis en las secuencias de acción que requieren un tiempo de fracción de segundo. La historia tiene lugar después de los eventos de la película / libro. Te envían de regreso a Jurassic Park para recuperar huevos de dinosaurio de todo el parque y ponerlos en una incubadora. Solo tienes 12 horas para recuperar un huevo de cada especie de dino en el parque. Desafortunadamente, poco antes de llegar al parque, ¡su helicóptero se estrella!

One of many games based on the 1993 blockbuster Jurassic Park, the version for Sega's 8-bit systems combines side-scrolling shooting action and platforming levels. In each of the five stages of the game, one escaped dinosaur species must be recaptured. Each level begins with a side-scrolling driving section. Dinosaurs attack the car and must be fend off by firing at them with a crosshair. If the player survives long enough, a boss battle against an especially powerful dinosaur follows. After the completion of the driving section the level continues with a platform section. The player must jump, duck and climb to survive moving lifts, floors that will crumble under his feet, environmental hazards like acid drops, steam leaks or giant boulders and more. Dinosaurs will of course also stand in the way, but can be defeated by using several weapons: a rifle, a grenade launcher and hand grenades. Navigating the often maze-like levels will lead to the dinosaur that must be captured and a corresponding boss fight. The first four levels (featuring a Velociraptor, Pteranodon, Triceratops and Brachiosaurus) can be tackled in any order, but the final level, featuring the Tyrannosaurus Rex, is only unlocked when the others have been completed.

Jurassic Park es un juego de pistola de luz sobre raíles para 1 o 2 jugadores, basado en la innovadora película de Steven Spielberg del mismo nombre. Jurassic Park presenta los gráficos a escala de sprites altamente efectivos y de uso frecuente de Sega y es muy similar en estilo a otro shoot-em-up de Sega Lightgun, "Rail Chase" de 1991. Para los juegos posteriores de la serie, la tecnología gráfica se había movido un poco y los sprites escalados se abandonaron en favor de polígonos texturizados muy superiores.
