A simple shoot-em-up with multiple endings based on your performance in each level. Your guns build up power and get stronger as you tap the fire button rapidly, but the power gauge will drain if you stop tapping the button. After charging up enough power, you can press the bomb button for a smart bomb attack which uses up the whole power gauge. With more power it creates a bigger explosion. Power-ups switch your weapon to fire different projectiles, like lasers that spread out at right angles, and a flamethrower that reaches farther with more power.

In this game, based on the movie series, you can play as Martin Riggs or Roger Murtaugh to complete four main missions, before taking on a final bonus one. For each mission you can choose the appropriate character. Walking around, jumping and swimming, kicking or shooting the opponents you have to stop the crimes in your beloved L.A. Firstly, you have to stop drug dealers who want to transport their money from the dock, where you infiltrate. Secondly, you have to stop suicidal terrorists, who entered the subway. Thirdly, you have to defuse a bomb, planted by another terrorist group in the mall. Fourthly, you have to sneak into an office complex to free a hostage, Leo Getz. And finally, you have to find out and stop an ex-police sergeant, who is supplying armor-piercing bullets to local criminals.

Leviathan se desarrolla en paisajes isométricos de ciencia ficción en los que hay que destruir a todos los enemigos. El jugador controla una nave espacial y tiene que volar a través de tres niveles (con la posibilidad de girar y cambiar la altura de vuelo). Además de enemigos voladores, también hay estaciones de defensa terrestres que destruir. Aunque la munición es ilimitada, el combustible debe rellenarse regularmente aterrizando junto a una cápsula de combustible. At first glance, the gameplay resembles Taito's Qix. The player controls two "arrows", one red (Libble) and one blue (Rabble) with a line strung between them. The object is to wrap the line around poles and surround Mushlins and enemies with it. The player can either close the loops themselves (worth more points for the Mushlins) or move both arrows to the same edge of the screen. The player clears a "season" when he or she harvests all the Mushlins.

The Liberator controls consist of a trackball, fire button, and shield button. The player controls a coordinated attack from four star ships at the corners of the screen. The primary target of the attack are enemy bases on a rotating planet in the center of the screen. The trackball is used to move a cross-shaped cursor. The fire button fires a missile at the cursor's location from your closest ship. The shield button is used to activate force fields around the ships. The shield can only take four hits each round, and the count is shared between all ships. At the beginning of each level, the player is flying through outer space and spaceships fly on screen from the left and right and leave in an arc. They try to ram into your ships. Note that shields do not work during this stage. After this stage, the player is taken to a view of a rotating planet. The most prominent enemies are red flashing missile bases. They shoot missiles, fireballs, and star balls at your ships. The enemy bases can also detach from the planet, turn into satellites, and orbit the planet while shooting missiles. Once all missile bases are destroyed, the player moves onto the next level. At higher levels, there is the white master base. It is very intelligent, and it can change the direction or speed of the planet rotation to avoid getting hit.

Once again, Earth has been invaded by an alien army who have somehow arrived undetected – until now. Armed with an automatic machine gun, you must reach their underground control centre and destroy it. This horizontally scrolling shoot-'em-up takes place over 3 levels, and right from the start, a relentless stream of aliens will attack you from both sides. There are power-ups available so keep on firing till victory.
