Arkanoid R 2000 (a.k.a. Arkanoid 4) is an arcade game released by Taito in 1997 as the last in the Arkanoid series. This Playstation game is a conversion from that classic Arcade game. The enemy known as 'DOH' still did not get the message and after many years of silence decides to attack once again. The 'Vaus' space vessel better be ready to face new, yet familiar challenges, in order to stop 'DOH' for the last time. Features 50 levels of revamped graphics and sound, the same gameplay as its predecessors, as well as plenty of power-ups to try out. Game modes: - Arcade: The same as the arcade version - Edit: Create your own missions - Extra: Both players share the same lives and the game have other new features. - Squash: The players alternate each hit to the ball, when one player hit it he can't hit it again until the other player hit it. Arkanoid R 2000 is fundamentally Arkanoid Returns. Indeed, it's all Arkanoid Returns: same graphics, same levels, same sounds.

Arkanoid V for the Amstrad CPC is a Arkanoid hack. The game's plot redefines the bat as a Vaus spaceship, the ball as an energy bolt, and the bricks form a mysterious wall stopping the ship from progressing to safety. By the mid-80s, power-ups were popular in most types of arcade games, and Arkanoid features them. They are caught by positioning the bat below them as they fall (meaning that you risk missing the ball if you go for them at the wrong time). The power-ups include lasers (which are mounted to each side of the ship and allow you to shoot out the blocks), a catching device (so as to be able to fire the ball off at a different angle every time you hit it) and one that slows the bolt down.

In this horse racing game, you plunk a bunch of quarters into the coin mechs, and then bet on the horses. When you are finished betting, press the start race button to see the horse run the track. The game then pays off any winning bids in credits, and then starts over.
