1 to 1 soccer is a frenetic multiplayer soccer videogame with a colorful and childish aesthetics. The gameplay consists of two minutes matches where two players compete to win. The game has multiplayer and single player mode against an AI. To win the game you have to score more goals than your opponent to do so youhave to make the ball enter the goal. The matches have a duration of two minutes. You have to shoot the ball into the goal but beware not to shoot it too high. You can score a goal or shoot the ball out. If you score a goal the players will respawn at the center of the map like at the beginning of the match. If you shoot the ball out, the player of the side where the ball was shooted will respawn in front of his goal to restore the action. The other player will respawn at the center of the map. The game can be played by one or two players In single player mode you play against an AI and to play multiplayer mode you need to be with someone else to play it. In both cases you can choose between four skins which will only add a cosmetic aspect to the gameplay.

The game is viewed in a top-down perspective and is vertical scrolling. The player does not select plays for either offense or defense. On offense, the player simply receives the ball upon the snap and either attempt to run with the quarterback, toss the ball to a running back, or throw the ball to the one long distance receiver - basically the option offense. On defense, the player chooses one of two players to control, and the computer manipulates the others. The ball can also be punted or a field goal can be attempted. 10-Yard Fight has five levels of difficulty; from easiest to most difficult: high school, college, professional, playoff, and Super Bowl. If the player wins both halves of an "accelerated real time" 30-minute half at an easier level, the player advanced to the next level of difficulty, like a career mode.

El juego se ve en una perspectiva de arriba hacia abajo y es desplazamiento vertical. El jugador no selecciona jugadas ofensivas o de defensa. En la ofensiva, el jugador simplemente recibe la pelota en el snap y trata de correr con el quarterback, tira la pelota hacia atrás o tira la pelota a un receptor de larga distancia - básicamente la ofensiva opcional.
